Founded by Bud Strandlund in 1962, Strandlund Refrigeration has been providing sales, service, installations of premium refrigeration, heating, cooling and geothermal systems for residential and commercial customers since 1962.

We serve East Central Minnesota, including Kanabec, Pine, Isanti, Mille Lacs and Chisago counties.

The company is currently owned and operated by Jim Strandlund (Bud's son) and his wife Kari. Jim followed his fathers footsteps in the trade, then attended Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jim has been involved ever since with continuing education in his fields of expertise.

Kari Strandlund handles all the day to day business operations as well as fireplace sales. Recently, they have moved operations to a new store front in Mora, Minnesota.

Strandlund serves the commercial and residential markets for heating, cooling and refrigeration. They are an authorized dealer for Carrier heating and cooling products, ECONAR geothermal heating and cooling, Mr. Pex radiant in-floor heating systems and Napoleon (gas & wood) and Electraflame (electric) fireplaces.

For Commercial customers, they have along history of excellence in service and installations of supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, bars & grilles, hospitals, retail stores and industrial companies.

Jim Strandlund is an active member in the Wisconsin Geothermal Association.
He's also a member, past President and currently an advisor to the Minnesota Geothermal Heat Pump Association.

Strandlund's is also an indoor air network certified dealer for Venmar Clean Air Living.

Strandlund proudly sells Carrier residential products.
